Black Magic Compost
A finished compost produced from recycled organic materials under a 90-120 day controlled composting process. Black Magic Compost adds organic matter, improves soil structure, increases water infiltration and water retention capacity, and supports beneficial microbial activity. Suitable for agriculture, landscaping, turf, gardens, and soil improvement projects.
Topdressing Blend
A blend of our Black Magic compost and USGA grade washed sand designed for topdressing established turf. Helps build organic matter, improve soil structure, reduce compaction, and encourage deeper rooting without disturbing existing grass. Recommended for lawns, parks, athletic fields, and golf courses.
Leveling Sand
Single washed, USGA grade sand used for lawn leveling, drainage improvement, and construction applications. Provides a stable, uniform material for creating smooth surfaces and improving soil drainage in turf systems.
Enriched Topsoil
A custom blend of screened topsoil and Black Magic Compost. Designed for new lawns, planting beds, tree and shrub installation, and general landscape construction. The added compost increases organic matter while improving moisture retention and overall soil quality.
Double Ground Native Hardwood Mulch
Double-ground native hardwood mulch produced from locally sourced wood. Helps conserve soil moisture, reduce weed growth, moderate soil temperature, and minimize erosion while providing a clean, natural appearance around landscape beds and trees.
Garden Soil
A planting mix made from compost and quality soil components for vegetable gardens, flower beds, raised beds, and general planting. Provides improved drainage, water retention, and organic matter for healthy plant establishment.
Screened Topsoil
Native topsoil screened to remove rocks, roots, and oversized material. Provides a consistent material for grading, backfilling, lawn installation, and landscape projects. Can also be blended with compost or sand for custom applications.
Lawn leveling Blend
A blend of USGA grade washed sand and our Black Magic compost designed for leveling uneven lawns while maintaining healthy turf. Easy to spread and rake, making it ideal for filling low areas, lawn renovation, and overseeding projects.
Biochar
A stable carbon material produced through the pyrolysis of biomass. Biochar increases soil porosity, improves water and nutrient retention, and provides long-term habitat for beneficial soil microorganisms. It can be applied directly to soil or blended with compost before application.

Plastics, trash, or municipal solid waste
Household garbage
Hazardous, medical, liquid, or regulated wastes
any material not specifically listed as an accepted feedstock
Inspection and Rejection Policy:
All incoming loads are subject to visual inspection upon arrival. Loads containing prohibited materials or exceeding allowable incidental non-recyclable waste thresholds may be rejected or required to be removed from the site. Documentation of rejected loads is maintained onsite.
Source-Separation Requirement:
Customers and haulers delivering material to TexRx Compost are responsible for source-separating materials prior to delivery. Delivery of commingled or contaminated loads may result in rejection.
